I have just completed the curriculum for my first Independent Professional Education Events. These will be private trainings for licensed stylists with content that I have custom designed for the purpose of upgrading hairstylists cutting and styling capabilities! This first collection is simply titled "The Foundation Collection" contains Classic cuts and usable styling techniques for professionals to Jump Start Their Skills. This is a major accomplishment and a big step forward in my effort to train and motivate stylists outside of the work I do with Joico!
The first seminar was held in Tacoma on Feb 24th with another to follow in April in Portland. Thanks to Ron Scott And Heidi Cuthbert for all the hard work!

Joico Guest Artist Update San Diego
I attended the Joico Guest Artist Training in San Diego on Jan 17th thru Jan 21st. The new haircut collection " Minimum Maximum" Was taught by our Creative Directors Sue Pemberton and Damien Carney. The collection is inspired by the aesthetic extremities in the world of fashion minimum and maximum functions as a visual study in the extremes of hair design. What that means to us is that in fashion there are two different mind sets or styles. One can be very minimal in tone shape and fabric. The other type of design is maximized, many patterns, distorted shapes and more more more. It applies also to hairstyles. Who are you?
